Doctor Strange cannot be stopped. The highly anticipated Marvel Studios flick has already done wonders with its overseas box office earnings. Its domestic debut also crushed predictions after Doctor Strange raked in more than $85 million. And, now, it looks like the blockbuster is expected to reign supreme for another weekend.

According to the LA Times, Doctor Strange is expected to earn about $42 million this weekend in the U.S. and Canada. DreamWorks' Trolls will likely pull in about $23 million, ranking it second at the box office.

Two new films will also be arriving this weekend, and experts expect them to clash over third place. Paramount Pictures will release Arrival to the tune of about $17-18 million while Universal Pictures will rake in about $15 with Almost Christmas.

Clearly, Doctor Strange appears to be taking charge with its box office pull in a continued show of force. When the film debuted abroad, the superhero flick quickly bewitched moviegoers. Its international box office now stands at well over $300 million.

Really, Marvel Studios should be pleased to hear that the sorcerer supreme has mastered the art of pulling cash out of a hat.
