In the coming months, anime fans are in for a big treat thanks to a slew of returning series. This spring will see franchises like Naruto embark on a comeback, and Attack on Titan will do so as well. The anime's long-awaited second season will premiere on April 1st, and fans of the thrilling series are ready to return to the Survey Corps. And, now, Pash! Magazine has just released a new illustration from the upcoming debut.

In the March 2017 issue of Pash!, fans were treated to an image of several Survey Corps' captains. Erwin Smith, Hange Zoe, and Levi are show grabbing together at a table. The blonde captain is seen drinking what appears to be coffee while Hange reaches over towards him. And, unsurprisingly, Levi looks less-than-enthusiastic about being stuck with the pair.

In the spread, fans can read up about the new season if they have dabbled in Japanese. The layout gives fans a reminder about the show's main cast that will return for season two, and it even hints that a new character will be joining the anime. Towards the bottom, it looks like a soldier dressed in captain's gear is seen, and he looks like he could spell trouble for Levi.

If you are not familiar with Attack on Titan, then you should know the popular anime is renowned for its intense action and gritty storylines. The anime follows a boy named Eren Yeager in an alternate world overrun by massive creatures known as Titans. These mindless beasts have all but wiped out humanity, and mankind is left to cower in fear behind massive walls. When their sanctum is infiltrated by a slew of Titans, Eren and his friends Armin and Mikasa join the military to help eradicate the blood-thirty monsters. But, as they grow older, they learn that the beasts are not what they appear as long-held government conspiracies make themselves known.
