Yesterday, we posted the first round of tutorials for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, which featured Captain America, Mega Man, Captain Marvel and more characters. Capcom promised that it would be posting more of these to help players get the hang of combatants coming in the crossover game, and today, it kept its promise.
The publisher has released five more tutorials that feature a handful of fighters from the game, highlighting their special moves and strengths. These characters include Gamora, Chris Redfield, Spencer, Hulk and Dormammu. You can check them out over the next few pages, and get an idea of what each character has to offer.
This Guardian of the Galaxy finally gets her own turn to shine in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, with an energy sword that can carve through pretty much anyone, along with light bursts, speed boosts and other great moves that make her a versatile character. She’s great for those of you who prefer mid-range attacks that can do a good amount of damage, as well as chaining together quick combos, as she has a number available. You’ll be able to master her moves in no time, as well as her supers, which deliver all sorts of damage. Now let’s see how she fares against Rocket Raccoon…
The Resident Evil hero is back in action in the Marvel vs. Capcom universe, and he’s packing all kinds of weaponry this time around, including a variety of firearms, as well as his knife. He can actually pull off a number of long range attacks that are good for sustaining damage, and he’s not bad with up-close striking either. He can also toss grenades like projectiles, in case he needs to deliver a bang very quickly. His combo punches are pretty cool, and his supers are very good, including using a grenade launcher for multiple hits. Bust out that damage!
Although he’s not quite the legend that Super Joe was, Spencer can still pack a punch with his Bionic Commando gear, using his arm to really smack enemies around. He’s mainly known as a ranged grappler that can utilize his bionic appendage on a number of occasions, including for combos and grabs, as it acts as a grappling hook. He can also swing through the air for a powerful jump kick, catching his opponents off guard. He can also deliver bomb strikes to the ground, and finish off opponents with a multi-hit combo, featuring a variety of punches and grabs, with a grenade planted into their chest to finish them off in style. Make sure you use the grapple whenever you can, as it makes Spencer that much quicker on the draw.
Hulk smash! The big green guy, as expected, makes his return to Marvel vs. Capcom with a heaping amount of strength. He’s a bit on the slow side compared to other characters, but he’s devastating once a character enters into his range. That’s because he’s a heavy hitter that can deliver all sorts of crazy attacks, including tearing up the ground for a shockwave, delivering thunderous combos for multiple hits, a gamma tornado that can capture anyone for a quick aerial combo, and more. Plus, his super is ridiculous, as he literlaly throws everything at his foe in an effort to finish them off. Gotta love the Gamma Tsunami. If you enjoyed Hulk before, you’ll still enjoy him now.
The unstoppable demon is back in action following his appearance in the previous Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and it should be no surprise that he’s still an over-the-top force to deal with. He is able to bring all sorts of chaos to the table, and he can master his zones, both short and long range, making him an unpredictable opponent. He can summon dark holes like a boss to temporarily capture foes, as well as a purification blast that can send them flying. Plus, his Dimension Fang is good for a few quick hits, and his Chaotic Flame super is nuts, as it sends fire flying all the way across the thing, roasting everything in its path. Yeah, don’t piss this guy off…
