The first trailer for Thor: Ragnarok just debuted, and fans are raving about all of the awesome footage contained in the two minutes of footage. New characters and classic comic outfits had everybody talking, but there was one Easter Egg hidden within the trailer that only the biggest fans of director Taika Waititi would recognize.
If you recall, Waititi's last film before Ragnarok was an adventurous New Zealand comedy called, Hunt For The Wilderpeople. The film followed an orphan and his adoptive uncle, running from the police throughout the New Zealand countryside.
The main character Ricky Baker - played by Julian Dennison - is a big fan of rap music. He constantly talks about being gangster, and even names his dog Tupac. Additionally, Ricky uses the phrase, "I didn't choose the Skux life, the Skux life chose me." The 'Skux Life' is New Zealand slang, and it means the same as the American 'Thug Life'. It was hilarious in the movie, but the phrase has now found its way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Towards the beginning of the trailer, Hela finds Thor and destroys his hammer. As he watches, you can see some graffiti spray painted on the wall behind him. If you look closely, you can see that the graffiti spells out, "Skux Life."
This is a hilarious little nod to Waititi's previous film, and the director was surely proud to hide it within the MCU.
James Gunn included a similar Easter Egg in Guardians Of The Galaxy, when the creatures from his indie horror film Slither were seen crawling in one of The Collector's cases.

Thor: Ragnarok opens in theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
