Every Time A Villain Has Caught A Hero's Weapon In The MCU
When the first trailer for Thor: Ragnarok was released yesterday, everyone immediately began [...]
Loki Catches Hawkeye's Arrow
In the first Avengers, Loki opened up the skies of New York City, and brought an army to take on the team. While Hawkeye may not have been able to take to the skies and fight anyone head on, he did pretty well from the top of a skyscraper.
As Loki was riding along, Hawkeye informed the team that he had eyes on the villain. He took aim, fired an arrow, and it looked like he would be victorious.
Loki then catches the arrow in his bare hand, without even turning to look at it.
Hawkeye won the battle though, as the arrow was of the explosive variety and it sent Loki crashing down.
Bucky Catches Cap's Shield
Everyone knows that Captain America's shield is an unstoppable force, so seeing it in the hands of a villain is hard to imagine.
However, The Winter Soldier made it happen when the two went toe-to-toe in the Captain America sequel.
Maybe it was because they were friends, or maybe it was because he had en epic metal arm. Either way, Bucky immediately stopped the vibranium shield that Cap hurled at his face.
This is the moment people realized Bucky Barnes should not be taken lightly.
Hela Catches Thor's Hammer
As we saw in the trailer for Ragnarok, Hela is incredibly powerful. No one can even lift up Mjolnir, let alone wield it.
But here comes Hela, with all of her power, casually crushing the hammer into rubble. Seriously, how epic was that?
There's no telling what else Hela will do in Ragnarok, but it's going to be crazy.
