Across all media, Harley Quinn has rotated through a number of costumes in her twenty years of existence. So it's a good thing that Suicide Squad, her live-action debut, won't honor just one suit, but the whole wardrobe.
According to a recent online report, Harley Quinn, played by Margot Robbie, might sport several different costumes throughout the film. And the movie won’t just juggle her recent costume shifts. It's taking the homage way back, with her classic Batman: The Animated series suit, along prison attire, and a dress, which could possibly be a send-up to her Batman: Arkham Asylum uniform.
But Harley’s costume won’t be the only comic book import in Suicide Squad. As Latino Review reports, Harley’s pet hyenas will also make a short appearance in the film.
While many details on the live action Harley Quinn and Suicide Squad are still under wraps, it’s beginning to to look like director David Ayer and Warner Bros. are making efforts to honor the classic source material.

#SUICIDESQUAD Pls RT! All about Margot Robbie's #HARLEYQUINN! Got a lot of requests about her so here is what I'm told. Harley Quinn has a few looks throughout the film. Going from traditional with the animated series as a reference to prison attire & in one sequence where they infiltrate a club she swears a dress. Get this, her & Joker's pet Hyena's are in the film briefly. Apparently, Harley with the hyena's are a big motif. Figured fans of #BATMAN:TAS would get a kick out of this one. #skwad #DC #dccu #dccomics #THEJOKER #jaredleto #margotrobbie
