Joss Whedon Loves Going To DC Comics Movies, Wants To Direct Batman

We already knew that Joss Whedon can't wait to see Batman punch Superman in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, but now the director is proclaiming his DC love even further.

In a recent interview, Whedon revealed that if he could direct a movie for DC Entertainment, he would most certainly tackle Batman.

"Everyone wants to play with Batman," Whedon told MTV. "Come on, that's just a given."

And even though Marvel writes his paychecks, Whedon is still an unabashed DC fanboy. According to the Age of Ultron director, he's just as excited for DC Entertainment's upcoming Justice League films as the next geek.

"I love going to their movies," Whedon said. "I want to see how they build their team."
