Guillermo del Toro Wants Maisie Williams For Pacific Rim 2

Could you imagine Arya Stark as a Jaeger Pilot? Guillermo del Toro can!

Director Guillermo del Toro (Crimson Peak) revealed, via Twitter, that he met with Maisie Williams and was so enamored with the Game of Thrones actress that he now has a desire to put her in Pacific Rim 2. And he would like to have the 18-year-old suit up as a Jaeger Pilot and kick the tar out of a Kaiju or two.

Of course, this all depends on whether or not Pacific Rim 2 ever gets made. The sequel was supposed to begin filming next month but it has been postponed indefinitely. Universal has removed it entirely from their schedule. According to del Toro the delay is necessary so that they can rework the script and its budget.
