First Footage From New Pixar Short Sanjay's Super Team

When Pixar's latest film The Good Dinosaur opens in theaters next month it will be accompanied by a new animated short film: Sanjay's Super Team. Today, Yahoo has released the first clip from the 7-minute short that was created Pixar Animation Studios artist Sanjay Patel.

The story is based on Patel's childhood and begins with him as a young boy transfixed by a television that is playing his favorite superhero cartoon. On the opposite side of the room, his devout Hindu father is trying pray, but is interrupted by his son who keeps turning up the volume on the TV. This is when the father turns off the TV and beckons his son over to join him in prayer.
