It's still almost two years away, but as Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 gets closer to the start of production, everybody in the cast seems to have something to say about it.

"I think what I'm really excited about it delving into the sisterly relationship between Gamora and Nebula," Gillan told CBR. "I think that we're going to see a little bit more of that, and it's going to be a bit more fleshed out."

That makes sense, given the fact that we know a lot of the film will revolve around Star-Lord's relationship with his father and the significance of parental relationships in general in the first Guardians of the Galaxy, be it between Star-Lord and his mom, Star-Lord and the Ravagers or Thanos and his kids.

James Gunn (Slither, Super), director of 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy, will return to write and direct the sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
