Rumored Changes To Main Guardians Of Galaxy Team In Sequel

Potential spoilers ahead for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

According to a new report at Geek.com, the team lineup in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will grow by three members.

None of the three are shocking additions to the cast at this point, although having them on board the Milano, if true, should make for some interesting moments.

The report suggests that Guardians of the Galaxy antagonists Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) will join up with Peter Quill and company in the sequel, joined by Mantis.

Mantis, an on-again/off-again member of the Guardians in the comics, has long been rumored as the big female addition to the team's lineup. Pom Klementieff is rumored to be taking on the role.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will continue the misadventures of the bunch of a-holescosmic heroes who first came together to defend the planet Xandar from Ronan, who was working for Marvel's current biggest bad, Thanos. The film promises to introduce new character, including Peter Quill's mysterious father.
