This past Monday Night Raw saw the return of the Prodigal Son, Shane McMahon. Shane hasn’t been seen in the WWE since 2009 and he came back in a big way. He announced his intentions to his father, Vince McMahon, he wants to take over Monday Night Raw, and help the long-running show return to greatness.

The catch? Shane has to fight the Undertaker at WrestleMania.

In Hell in a Cell.

For those unfamiliar with Shane’s in-ring style, it can be described as fearless…or careless, depending on your point of view. He’s most known for such death-defying moments as falling from the Titantron on top of the Big Show and the time he was almost killed by Kurt Angle.

The probability of ring rust is likely and Shane is looking to get back into shape in time for the match, which will take place on April 3rd. McMahon announced via his Twitter he’s recruited Phil Nurse, the trainer of such UFC greats like George Saint-Pierre (aka Batroc the Leaper from Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Solider)

It seems that Shane-O-Mac is looking to change up his fighting style to take on the Deadman. He also tweeted more progress earlier today, noting it he has 38 days til Mania.

This kind of match up seems rather bizarre, but Shane’s devotion to pulling out some insane stunts will surely entertain. Makes you think back to Corporate Ministry days, doesn’t it?
