In July 2015, Jaimie Alexander was 100% positive she would appear in Thor: Ragnarok, but script rewrites and her time-commitment to her NBC television series, Blindspot, have made her less sure about being able to reprise Lady Sif for the next Thor film.

“I am not 100% sure at this moment,” she told CBM‘s Ed Gross. “I know that they’re changing things with the script and that sort of thing, so I am literally in limbo. I know probably less than you do about it. I would love to do it, but wheether or not it’s going to work on my short hiatus from Blindspot I’m not sure. There could be a lot of factors when it comes to that decision.”

She added, “If I get to play her again, it’s absolutely gravy.”

Thor: Ragnarok will star Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Cate Blanchett (Hela) and Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk). It’ll be directed by Taika Waititi, based on a script by Christopher Yost, Craig Kyle and Stephany Folsom.

Thor: Ragnarok will be released on November 3, 2017.
