Bryan Cranston continues his press tour for The Infiltrator, and even Larry King wants to know about another project: Power Rangers. Cranston signing on to play Zordon, the mysterious disembodied head that brings the Rangers together to save the world, was a surprise to some, but his enthusiasm, and his history with the franchise, have shown that it was a natural fit.

"35 years ago, I worked doing dubbing of the television series Power Rangers. I did it so often, that they named one of the Power Rangers characters after me!" he told Larry King. "The Blue Power Ranger is named Billy Cranston!"

He promises this will "be a completely reimagined Power Rangers, not like the television series," comparing it to the difference between Batman on film and the 1966 Batman TV show.

Cranston took this particular job because he'd "never done a sci-fi/superhero type" of movie, making him curious. When it came to him and he read it, he was immediately excited about it.

Now, Cranston may have slipped, he may have made a slight mistake, but when he talked about the individual Rangers, he mentioned, "Red, and Blue, and Black, and Yellow, and Green." The Rangers actually announced for the film are Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, and Pink, of course, the initial five colored characters. Green, Tommy, came into the series later, becoming a massive fan favorite (and being on the wrong side of the fight for a time). Did Cranston accidentally reveal the Green Ranger's presence in the film, or just make a simple mistake?

We won't know until we see more about Power Rangers as it continues principal photography leading to its February 2017 release.
