Some Pokemon Go players are trying to sell their accounts for big bucks. CNBC reported that the online site "PlayerAuctions" is offering a Pokemon Go account for the low, low price of $999,999. The post offers a "custom" account, meaning the buyer can make request any Pokemon, team or level for the player to own.

While that seems like an absurdly high price to pay for a Pokemon Go account, other accounts are selling for thousands of dollars. "LeagueOfTrading", an online site that typically brokers League of Legends accounts, recently sold a Pokemon Go account for $2,000.

It's not surprising that players are trying to sell their Pokemon Go accounts for cash. The game has been downloaded over 100 million times since it was first released last month and many players have discovered a frustrating escalation in difficulty upon reaching higher levels. Instead of wasting hours catching and evolving Pidgeys, why wouldn't some players want to cheat a little and buy a high level account instead?

Before buying a Pokemon Go account, players should know that buying and selling their accounts is technically against the game's Terms of Service. If Niantic discovers that an account has been bought/sold, they reserve the right to disable it at anytime.
