There’s something to be said about achieving one’s lifelong dream. In the world of professional wrestling we’ve seen many “boyhood dreams” come true with the likes of Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XII, The Miz becoming WWE Champion, and yes, even James Ellsworth who has gotten actual WWE World Championship matches these past few weeks. Everybody’s got to have a dream right?
It seems that Ellsworth’s dream of becoming a full-time WWE employee will also be realized in the near future. PWInsider is reporting that Ellsworth, who has become a sort of fan-favorite jobber these past few months, is expected to sign a full-time deal with the WWE “very soon”, if he hasn’t already. Ellsworth was recently announced as the mascot for Team Smackdown at Survivor Series and made his first WWE Live appearance in Berlin this past week.

While we’ve already disected on why Ellsworth is the perfect jobber for the New Era, the Chinless One doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon. With TLC and the Royal Rumble around the corner, it’s all about figuring out where to place Ellsworth in those cards. Obviously you’re not looking at the next WWE World Champion here (or are you?) but should the Cruiserweight Division come to WWE’s blue brand, Ellsworth could be wearing WWE gold sooner than we all expected.
