Stan Lee Cameos In Iron Man Experience Ride At Hong Kong Disneyland

Marvel wouldn't even exist if not for Stan Lee helping to create and develop many of the company's most iconic characters, such as Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, and X-Men. So, it's always nice to see Lee being honored with cameos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and other Marvel films being produced by 20th Century Fox and Sony Pictures.

Heck, Lee even makes an appearance in Hong Kong Disneyland's The Iron Man Experience — the first Marvel attraction at any Disney park. When the ride opens on Wednesday, January 11, it will begin with a safety video, and while standard instructions are given, Lee boarding the Iron Wing and taking a seat next to a young boy wearing an Iron Man mask. When the boy removes the mask and reveals a Tony Stark-like goatee drawn on his face, too, Lee lets out a hearty laugh.

"We’re excited to be able to create the Iron Man Experience with an authentic Iron Man Super Hero adventure that takes place in a real city, Hong Kong,” said Ted Robledo, Creative Director of Walt Disney Imagineering in a November press release (via Orlando Sentinel). "We’ve set this up as the next Stark Expo after the one Tony Stark did in 2010 in New York. He’s showcasing his latest and greatest products from Stark Industries, so guests see all kinds of things in the exhibition halls when coming through the Expo. But the ultimate experience is to get on this brand-new Iron Wing vehicle, which is essentially a really large Iron Man suit that 45 guests can get into. And guests will be going out on a tour of Hong Kong ending at the Hong Kong Stark Tower."
