KonoSuba
One of this year's surprise hits came in the form of KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Created by Natsume Akatsuki, the story follows a teenage boy after he's sent to a fantasy world following his accidental death. Kazuma Satō is sent to the parallel world after a goddess named Aqua offers to let him live out his MMORPG dreams. Kazuma asks Aqua to join his party as they explore this new world, but all is not peaceful in this pseudo-afterlife. Aqua cannot return to her previous home until a villain known as the Devil King is defeated, and it comes down to Kazuma to overcome his materialistic dreams and takedown the monster for good.
Season 2 is set to debut in January 2017.

The country's former prince obtains the power of Geass to help him bring down his father's tyrannical reign, and Lelouch uses the gift to become a revered vigilante.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection has no official release date set, but it is expected to air next year.
