Today was a good day. xXx: Return Of Xander Cage is only a week away from hitting US theaters, and the biggest news of the new movie may have just been revealed.

In a surprise move – that no one expected – a new teaser for the movie has revealed that Ice Cube will appear in the franchise’s third film.
After Vin Diesel starred as Xander Cage in the first xXx movie, he didn’t return for the 2005 sequel. Instead, Ice Cube portrayed Darius Stone, who was brought in to be Xander’s replacement.
Return of Xander Cage has focused on Vin Diesel coming back to the franchise, so many assumed that Ice Cube wouldn’t appear in the film. Since the film also added a horde of new characters to the franchise, Darius Stone wasn’t really on anyone’s mind.
This new teaser however, shows the epic return of the xXx agent.
At the end of the 30-second spot, a mystery shooter appears on top of a wall, taking out enemies that are attacking Xander’s team. As after a couple of quick cuts, Darius Stone is revealed behind the gun.
With this reveal, comes one of the film’s best lines to date.
“X takes care of its own.”

Even if its only a cameo, the addition of Darius means that the X Team will finally be complete. Ice Cube and Vin Diesel? The bad guys won’t stand a chance.
