John Wick: Chapter 2 Clip Features The New Dog

John Wick was highly-celebrated for its intense action sequences, but let's not forget why the film's events happened in the first place.

After John's wife was killed, she left him a puppy. He was supposed to love that dog since he couldn't love her anymore - but the pup was killed by some thugs in John's own house.

John Wick's warpath began to get revenge on the dog-killers, and it looks like he's finally found a new best friend to accompany him in his travels.

In thie new clip from John Wick: Chapter 2, Keanu Reeves enters the hotel where the assassin's guild calls home. When he walks in, he's got a new hound by his side.

SYNOPSIS: "In this next chapter following the 2014 hit, legendary hitman John Wick [Keanu Reeves] is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins' guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world's deadliest killers."

John Wick: Chapter 2 hits theaters February 10, 2017, and if we had to bet, we'd say there's going to be some violence in it.
