Another franchise to add to that list is the 1972 film The Godfather. Soon, fans of the film we be able to own a whole set of pint-sized figurines of the infamous Corleone family.

When the film was initially released, it quickly became the highest grossing film of 1972, and was at that time the highest-grossing film ever made. It went on to win a slew of Academy Awards, and spawned two sequels in the coming years.

With all of this in mind, it’s a no-brainer that Funko would make figurines to immortalize The Godfather.

Vito Corleone

The patriarch and “Don”ย of the Corleoneย family (played by Marlon Brando) is shown in a black suit and accompanied by hisย feline friend, who was reportedly a stray that director Francis Ford Coppola found on the Paramount lot during filming. That makes this figurine a unique one that fans of the film are sure to love.

Sonny Corleone

Heir apparent to the Corleone empire, James Caan’s character in the film is shown in a grey-and-blue suit, and is a must-have collectors item for fans of the trilogy.

Fredo Corleone

The middle child of the family, Fredericoย (akaย Fredo) is a staple of the franchise.ย Combined with the uniquely prestigious filmography of his actor, John Cazaleย (check out the documentary I Knew It Was You, if you haven’t already), this figurine will be an awesome addition to the Funko catalog.

Michael Corleone
