The Walking Dead tied itself to another cinematic universe on Sunday night with its Hostiles and Calamities episode. The AMC zombie drama linked itself to the X-Files, which has become a common tie for the show.

When Dwight snagged a pack of cigarettes from the fish mounted on the wall of his Sanctuary bedroom, the label on the carton read, “Morley.” The Morley brand of cigarettes is popularly known for being created on the X-Files TV Show.

Does this mean The Walking Dead and the X-Files exist in the same cinematic universe and we’re going to start seeing zombie aliens walking around Alexandria? Hard no. But the AMC series like to drop subtle ties to other series as it has previously dropped Easter Eggs from popular series such as LOST and the iconic Smokey and the Bandit film, in addition to a number of X-Files references across its seven seasons.

Of course, fans might notice in the image below, that the scene also packs a touch of heartbreak into it. Sherry, Dwight’s ex-wife, left a bit of lipstick on one of the cigarette’s Dwight has been holding on to.
