Marvel Comics has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive first look at the third chapter of the Marvel’s Monsters Unleashed recap video series, featuring music from the Black-Eyed Peas.

Monsters Unleashed was the five-issue flagship series in the Monsters Unleashed line-wide crossover event. In Monsters unleashed, an army of monsters begins falling from the sky at various places around Erath. The Avengers, the X-Men, Black Panther, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Inhumans, and the Champions each battle a different giant monster in a different major city. However, even all of Earth’s heroes are only able to slow the invasion, with no hope in sight of being able to stop it.
Meanwhile, Elsa Bloodstone learns of a prophecy that tells of the Monster King feared by all monsters. That Monster King, featured in the video above, is Kei Kawade, nicknamed Kid Kaiju, an Inhuman with the ability to summon monsters. Only with Kei’s help does the Earth stand a chance of surviving the monster invasion.
The Marvel Music Spotlight video features the song “Do It Like Use” by the bestselling music group the Black Eyed Peas. The Black Eyed Peas are have been nominated for 15 Grammy Awards overall and won six of them.
Kei’s adventures will continue in Monsters Unleashed #1, the first issue of a new ongoing series that see Kid Kaiju, under the watchful eye of Elsa Bloodstone, lead a new team of monsters attempting to the protect the Earth from other monstrous threats. The series is written by Cullen Bunn, the author of the Monsters Unleashed event series and features art by David Baldeon. Monsters Unleashed #1 goes on sale in comic book stores and through digital apps today.
