After the wave of cancellations and pick-ups this weekend, the TV networks are finally starting to set their fall line-ups accordingly. On Monday morning, Fox announced a major shake-up to the superhero landscape with the fall schedule.

First of all, Gotham will be moving to a slot later in the week. Instead of its 8pm ET place on Monday nights, which is where the show currently resides, Gotham will shift to the same time on Thursday nights. This puts it head-to-head with NBC’s Will & Grace revival series.
Lucifer, the other DC comics property on Fox, will move up one hour, taking Gotham‘s former slot.
The Gifted, the new X-Men series from Bryan Singer, will now take Lucifer‘s old place. The freshman super-show will follow-up the devil himself, and air at 9pm ET on Monday nights.
With Gotham on Thursdays, and Supergirl having the 8 pm slot on Monday nights, The Gifted should be able to flourish as the only comic-based series airing at that time.

Gifted was developed by Matt Nix who wrote the series’ pilot episode. X-Men movies veteran Bryan Singer will direct. Nix and Singer, along with Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jim Chory, and Jeph Loeb will all serve as executive producers. The pilot stars Redford, Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Jamie Chung, Sean Teale, Natalie Alyn Lind, Emma Dumont, Percy Hynes White, and Coby Bell.
“Gifted” will be the second X-Men television project to enter production following the drama Legion which has been renewed for a second season.
Action-adventure family drama THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
