It was majestic, epic, and action-packed, providing only the briefest hints with tantalizing visuals backed by a great Run The Jewels song. We don’t know exactly what’s going to happen in the plot, but we do know that Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa will be going up against a few different threats.
Actor Michael B. Jordan is playing the film’s main villain, Erik Killmonger, but Black Panther will also have to contend with Winston Dukes as M’Baku, AKA Man-Ape (Marvel) in the comics. Entertainment Weekly recently provided more information on the character, hinting that he might be as dangerous as he is in the source material.
As the ruler of the mountain tribe, he has a ruthless nature, and in the comics โ where he wore a mask and white, fur-covered armor and went by the name “Man-Ape” โ he was one of Black Panther’s most dangerous foes.
It was recently reported that Dukes would be reprising his role in Avengers: Infinity War, hinting that the epic Marvel team up movie might return to the fictional country of Wakanda in next year’s film.
