Deadpool 2 isn’t in the thick of production yet, but fans have already learned the sequel will be plenty fun. Earlier this month, Ryan Reynolds shared the first set photo from Deadpool 2 as it saw the mercenary chilling at a familiar location. And, now, the film’s newest set photos have shown fans that Deadpool is a very literal party-crasher.

Thanks to Just Jared, Marvel fans can check out a slew of brand-new photos from Deadpool 2. The pictures, which can be seen here, show Reynolds suited up in some of his Deadpool gear. The actor is shown sporting casual clothes thanks to his blue sweat pants and long-sleeve shirt. Reynold’s abs can be seen peeking from under his shirt as he leaps off a platform towards an awaiting landing pad whilst cameramen surround him.

Reynold’s may be dressed down in these shots, but the star is still wearing one very important Deadpool artifact. The hero’s mask can be easily seen as Reynold wears it throughout this sequence.

There is no telling what Deadpool got himself into with this particular shot, but fans can bet there is a great story behind it. The poor kids Deadpool springs himself on will certainly remember this party forever, and the birthday boy will know he got one special present from his less-than-friendly neighborhood mercenary.

Earlier this month, Reynolds shared a higher quality still from the set of Deadpool 2 with fans. The image sees the actor dressed in Deadpool’s entire costume with katanas and all. The star is seen lying on the ground outside of one familiar building since Deadpool is shown in front of Professor Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. The image quickly made rounds on the Internet as fans speculated why Deadpool would be visiting the X-Men’s hallowed grounds. For now, fans will have to wait and see if Deadpool really does visit the manor in Deadpool 2, but fans know they can definitely look forward to one kid’s party at the very least.

Deadpool 2 currently has a 4.18 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Anticipation Rating, making it the fifth most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com readers. David Leitch will direct the sequel, taking over for original Deadpool director Tim Miller. Fox is reportedly aiming for a June start of production in Vancouver. Ryan Reynolds will return as Wade Wilson, a.k.a. Deadpool, the Merc with a Mouth. For the sequel, he’ll be joined by Josh Brolin as Cable. Cable was co-created by Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld and Louise Simonson. He has often been paired with Deadpool as his grim, serious demeanor serves as the perfect foil to Deadpool’s crude and zany humor. The duo headlined an ongoing comic book series, Cable & Deadpool, for 50 issues.

Atlanta star Zazie Beetz has also been cast in Deadpool 2. She will play Domino, a mutant with probability manipulation abilities that endows her with improbably good luck. In the Marvel Comics Universe, Domino was a member of Cable’s mercenary crew, Six Pack, and one of his early love interests.
