Mark Ruffalo Teases New Thor: Ragnarok Trailer

San Diego Comic Con is just a couple weeks out, and fans are learning more about what the event may debut. Both Warner Bros. and Marvel Studios will have massive Hall H panels to tease their upcoming film slates. And, now, it looks like SDCC may debut a brand-new Thor: Ragnarok trailer during its packed weekend.

Over on Twitter, Mark Ruffalo has fans buzzing about the next trailer for Thor: Ragnarok. “Saw new Thor 3 trailer today,” the actor tweeted. “Amazing!!! Guess who wins in a fight between Thor and Hulk? There seems to be a little confusion. You’ll see.”

So far, there has only been one full trailer released for Thor: Ragnarok. The film’s first TV spot dropped not too long ago, and fans have been awaiting new footage of the movie. When the third feature dropped its debut trailer, fans were quick to fawn over the footage.

In fact, Thor: Ragnarok‘s first trailer was so successful that it wound up breaking some records. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the trailer accrued over 136 million views in just 24-hours. The numbers of views made the trailer Marvel’s most-watched trailer within that time frame. For now, Thor holds the record of being the most-viewed trailer across all of Disney’s live-action and animation projects within a day. The trailer beat out the previous record-holder Beauty and the Beast. The next closest Marvel Studios project to garner those many trailer views was Captain America: Civil War with 94 million.

However, if Marvel Studios does drop a trailer for Thor: Ragnarok at SDCC, the new clip could very well outdo its predecessors. The eyes of the geek world will be focused upon the event when it goes live, and Thor will be one of Marvel’s many main attractions. There’s no way the God of Thunder could be overlooked should he strut out some brand-new footage.
