Arrow had a major development in this week’s “Crisis on Earth-X” crossover, and the show’s subreddit is processing it in an interesting way.

The crossover’s final moments gave fans a surprising twist – as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) finally decided to get married. In the days since the crossover ended, the Arrow subreddit has gone under a major transformation, changing the sub’s aesthetic and general focus to Netflix’s The Punisher series.
“If anyone from the CW network or ARROW writers is reading this, the reason ‘ARROW’ subreddit has changed to ‘PUNISHER’, is because well…Arrow is no longer what it used to be.” reddit user Gintoki79 writes in the subreddit’s stickied post. “Season 5 was a back to form, but Season 6 is a utter disappointment. The forced Olicity wedding proved the show is for shippers. It’s a shame the writers haven’t learned their lessons from Season 3 and Season 4, and couldn’t let go of the Olicity obsession.”
This actually isn’t the first time that Arrow subreddit has switched allegiances, with it previously focusing on Daredevil after the Season 4 finale. And even if this venture into The Punisher isn’t permanent, it still has sparked plenty of amusing posts in the meantime.

For Arrow fans (even those currently turning their attention to The Punisher), next week’s midseason finale is set to have a lot to offer. The episode will see Team Arrow dealing with the revelation that one of them is a mole to the FBI, while also trying to save Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) from being kidnapped by Laurel Lance/Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) and Cayden James (Michael Emerson).
Arrow airs Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW. The Punisher is now available on Netflix.
