Attack On Titan Just Revealed The Truth Behind [SPOILER’S] Death

With just a few episodes left, Attack on Titan is winding down its second season with a slew of heart-stopping reveals. After the Colossal and Armored Titans had their identities revealed, Eren found himself kidnapped by his former comrades. Bertolt and Reiner nabbed the hero along with Ymir in a bid to make them join their crusade against Paradis. However, Eren seems dead-set against joining the cause.

After all, the hero did just learn the traitorous Survey Corps members were the ones who led to Marco’s death.

Back in season one, fans of Attack on Titan watched stunned when Jean stumbled upon the body of Marco after Titans enter the Trost District. Many wondered where the boy’s weapons had gone, prompting several to believe Marco was murdered rather than killed. And, as it turns out, those conspiracists were right.

In the latest episode of Attack on Titan, fans learned that Annie and Reiner were directly responsible for Marco’s death. During the Trost District ordeal, Bertolt and Reiner believe they are having a private conversation as they discuss their Titan Shifter status. Reiner complains about the military trying to cover up a hole which Bertolt made in a wall, but Marco overhears the pair. Reiner stresses the conversation was all in jest, but the boy tackles Marco and restrains him before he can go back to do recovery.

After a moment, Annie then showed up, and Reiner ordered the girl to take away Marco’s equipment. The three then drop off Marco in front of a titan with tears in their eyes, leaving them to walk away in horror as their former friend is eaten alive.

Eren Jaeger swore to wipe out every last Titan, but in a battle for his life he wound up becoming the thing he hates most. With his new powers, he fights for humanity’s freedom facing the monsters that threaten his home. After a bittersweet victory against the Female Titan, Eren finds no time to rest—a horde of Titans is approaching Wall Rose and the battle for humanity continues!
