It’s been four years since the Attack on Titan manga reached its conclusion, yet the series’ popularity only continues to grow. This year marks the 16th anniversary of the manga’s debut in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine, and it has confirmed a special project to commemorate the milestone. The manga’s anniversaries often introduce new projects or products for fans. Just last year, to celebrate the manga’s 15th anniversary, the franchise shared a few exciting updates, including the release of the official artbook FLY. The series has touched many hearts with its incredible, yet tragic story. It even received the first-ever Global Impact Award at the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards on May 25, 2025.

Only 23 manga series in history have sold more than 100 million copies, and Attack on Titan is one of them with a record of 140 million so far, which further proves the series’ phenomenal popularity. The anime completed the story in 2023 and will be releasing its Season 4 SteelBook Blu-ray, which will be released on November 11, 2025. Even though the anime doesn’t plan on continuing its story, it returns to the spotlight periodically thanks to several collaborative projects, and this one might be the best so far, given AOT is releasing a brand-new manga series just to promote a brand collaboration.
According to Oricon, Japanese skincare brand, Shiseido, launched the “Empower Your Skin” campaign in collaboration with this beloved manga. The project was launched on September 16th, 2025, and it has confirmed a new manga series that will release monthly chapters for four months. The update also mentions that the original manga highlights skincare concerns faced by men.
Attack on Titan Set to Release a Four-Month Manga Series to Promote the Brand

The characters engage in casual conversations and introduce solutions to those skin issues, all the while confronting the symbolic “walls” representing these troubles. The first part of the new series has already been released in Japanese, and Oricon shared an English version for global fans. Levi comes up to Eren and asks him to “Confront his own skin” before fighting the Titans.
He explains to a now clueless Eren, who must defeat his sebum since men’s skin is as dry as a crumbling wall, and the sebum comes at them like a horde of Titans. The next episode will be released in October and will likely include more characters from the original story. The art style is simple, but somewhat resembles the original manga, although the artist’s name hasn’t been disclosed yet. This project is introduced at the same time as the manga’s 16th anniversary, which makes it all the more exciting.
The anime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll and Hulu. As for the manga, the digital version is available on Kodanshaโs official website.
