Dragon Ball Super Episode 91 Synopsis Teases Vegeta’s New Strength

The clock is ticking for Goku and his friends over on Dragon Ball Super. The hero has been busy recruiting fighters to defend Universe 7 in the Tournament of Power, and everyone’s skills will be put to the test. The multiverse is gunning to take down Goku, and Vegeta already seems resigned about having to make up for some slack. This week, fans will bear witness to Goku’s long-awaited fight with Gohan, but Vegeta won’t bother himself with the father-son duel.

Instead, it seems like the Saiyan will go enhance his power levels off on his own.

Recently, Animedia released a slew of new episode synopses for Dragon Ball Super, and it looks like Vegeta will power up soon enough. Episode 91 promises to follow Vegeta as the surly Super Saiyan finally gets around to his training.

“In the training match, Gohan displays enough power to hold his own against Goku, showing that he’s grown stronger than ever before. Meanwhile, Vegeta heads to God’s palace to start training in the Room of Spirit and Time.”

For fans, it is both reassuring and a bit confusing to hear about the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. During the ‘Future Trunks’ saga of Dragon Ball Super, the special training facility was put out-of-order by Zamasu. There has been no mention of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber getting fixed, but Kami might have had time to fix up the place. Vegeta will be using the area to train, but this does beg one simple question: why isn’t everyone using the dang thing?!

Thanks to the Omni-Kings, the training time given for the Tournament of Power was almost nonexistent. The multiverse was allowed roughly two days to train before the martial arts event kicked off. If Vegeta can enter the training chamber, then fighters like Gohan and Piccolo should be able to as well. If anyone needs some serious training cheats, it is Gohan.

But, as fans know, Dragon Ball logic isn’t always the easiest thing to follow. Fans should be happy as is that Vegeta at least gets to go.

Dragon Ball Super‘s “Universal Survival” saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami will begin airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
