‘Dragon Ball Super’ Teases How Strong Kefla Will Be

When it comes to fusions, Dragon Ball fans aren’t always sure where they stand. The franchise has introduced a handful of canon fusions over the years, and Dragon Ball Super added to the list with its latest episode. Now, the anime is teasing just how strong Kefla is, and fans are not sure if the character’s power levels make sense.

In the newest episode of Dragon Ball Super, fans watched as Goku came face-to-face with a Saiyan fusion. Kale and Caulifla joined forces after Goku went Super Saiyan God, leaving the pair to fuse into the warrior Kefla. The duo left Goku stunned by their fusion, but the Saiyan wasn’t the only one taken back by their power.

After the fusion debuted, Vados chimed in to share her thoughts on the Universe 6 fusion. “The new body and personality born from a Potara fusion are more than the sum of their parts and their power increases tens of times,” the angel said.

As for Kefla, the fusion did note they had tapped into a wealth of power unlike any Kale or Caulifla had on their own. “I can feel infinite power bubbling up from deep inside!”

Goku also had an observation to make about Kefla’s power. The hero said her energy was “massive” and that he could not “sense a limit to her energy.” Even Vegeta paused his battle with Toppo to balk at the huge energy source coming from Goku’s opponent, and Dragon Ball Super’s next episode only further stresses Kefla’s might.

When the anime returns next week, Dragon Ball Super will come back with a controversial
episode. The release is titled “Goku vs Kefla! Super Saiyan Blue Beaten?!” The name alone suggests the fusion’s Super Saiyan state will be strong enough to push Goku into his Super Saiyan Blue form. Of course, the title could be baiting fans about SSB being beaten, but the suggestion itself is evidence of Kefla being a truly formidable enemy.

With no power levels to go off of, Dragon Ball fans will have to wait and see what the series does with Kefla’s first outing. In the past, fusions like Vegito and Gotenks have gotten to strut the impressive power in show debut episodes, so Goku better prepare himself; He will be in for a world of hurt next week.
