In the 99th episode of Dragon Ball Super, fans watched as Krillin and Android 18 went up against Universe 4 fighters during the Tournament of Power. The pair saw themselves facing Shosa after the wolfman nearly knocked Android 18 from the contest. The cocky opponent ribbed Android 18 for letting her guard down, but Krillin wouldn’t hear any of that.

In a bid to get even, Krillin and Android 18 decided it is time to use ‘that’ technique that they have been working on. Android 18 distracted Shosa while Krillin got in position. The hero then created a small ball of glowing ki which he threw to his wife. Catching it, Android 18 then added her own energy to the ball, and the pair played a game of keep-away from Shosa who was forced to dodge the ball. When their ball of ki was large enough, Android 18 finally lobbed it at Shosa, and the Universe 4 fighter was sent flying out of bounds for the tournament.

Sadly, the couple’s celebration did not last for long. Krillin may have helped knock out plenty of Universe 4 fighters, but his lucky did not carry on for a streak. Frost from Universe 6 managed to knock Goku’s friends out-of-bounds after Krillin defeat another fighter, and the gods of Universe 7 were left balking at the anti-climatic turn.
