Funimation has officially released its cast for the upcoming Universe 6 Arc for Dragon Ball Super‘s English dub. For the moment Dragon Ball fans that are following the series are still a fair way away from the Japanese dub fans. As a result, Dragon Ball Super’s English dub fans are still watching the Freeza arc, which is basically the Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F movie remade.
In the upcoming Arc, fans will watch the series start to introduce the other twelve universes, with Universe 6, Universe 7’s twin universe, being the first to enter the series. The new cast for the upcoming Universe 6 warriors include Cris George at Botamo, Clifford Chaplin as Cabba, Greg Ayres as Frost, Mathew Mercer at Hit, Daman Mills as Monaka and as for Magetta, he doesn’t require a voice actor.

The Universe 6 Arc is the first Arc outside of the two film remakes in Dragon Ball Super, with the two universes God’s of Destructions clashing and creating a tournament between Universes 6 and 7. The God of Destruction of Universe 6 is named Champa and he happens to be the brother of Beerus, who is Universe 7’s God of Destruction.
Beerus discovers that Champa is searching for the Super Dragon Balls, which are a group of planet-sized balls scattered across the two universes. These Super Dragon Balls have no limitations and they will be used as a reward for the winner of the upcoming tournament.
Champa after tasting the food of Universe 7’s earth is shattered that the earth in his universe no longer exists. As a result, Champa wants to use the Super Dragon Balls to wish Universe 7’s earth be moved into Universe 6, however, Beerus won’t allow this.
The two universes decide to hold a tournament, with Universe 6 having a number of similarities to the fighters in Universe 7. In addition, fans will get to see the strongest fighter Beerus has ever faced, as he mentioned Goku was the second strongest.
Many of the characters who will be introduced in this upcoming Arc have already been seen by fans in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse game series. Chaplin has remained the voice actor of Chaplin, however, Aaron Roberts has been replaced for the role as Hit.
