This Honest Trailer hits all the (easy) marks: making fun of the Americanization of anime, “borrowing” elements of popular sci-fi films that had themselves stolen from Ghost In The Shell, Scarlett Johansson‘s laughable performance, and, of course, that ridiculous twist meant to combat all the “whitewashing” controversy.
As is often the case for bad movies, the Honest Trailer is far more entertaining then the actual movie itself.
