My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON has now hit screens with the eighth season of the anime, and it means that the long war between the heroes and villains is finally going to come to an end. That’s the focus of the new opening theme sequence for the anime as it not only highlights All Might and All For One’s final battle, but also focuses on the final battle between Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki. You can check out the creditless version of the new opening below released by Toho Animation.
My Hero Academia Season 8 Teases Epic Finale With New Opening
Titled “THE REVO” as performed by PORNOGRAFFITI, the opening theme sequence for My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON puts fans right back into the thick of the war between heroes and villains. But with the previous season bringing many of the war’s key fights to an end, it’s meant that now there are only a small hand full of conflicts left to go before the war can come to an end. But that’s easier said than done as Deku and the others somehow need to stop the strongest villains at a much stronger power than they had been before.
Much of the opening also highlights many of the struggles that Deku and Shigaraki have been dealing with since the start of the series. They are both carrying the weight of everything going on around them, but Deku needs to somehow reach Shigaraki on a level that he has never been able to before. All the while Shigaraki himself is seemingly only getting stronger and more vicious as the final season kicks off. Still, with all of the characters now in the mix in the opening this is certainly going to be a finale fans won’t want to miss.
