Welcome to the Science Channel, home of Fox's best rejected science-fiction programming. Following on the heels of a marathon screening of Joss Whedon's cult favorite Firefly over the weekend, the Science Channel today announced that they have acquired the rerun rights to Fringe, the soon-to-be-cancelled show that has a small but incredibly dedicated base of fans on Fox. The first full season of the series will air in a marathon on Friday and Saturday, November 23 and 24, right after Thanksgiving.  After that, regular back-to-back episodes will air on Tuesday nights, hosted by series star John Noble, and the network will also air a short-form series The Science of Fringe. "Viewers tuning into FRINGE on Science Channel will see one of television's smartest and most addictive series in a more thought-provoking format than ever before," said Debbie Adler Myers, General Manager and Executive Vice President of Science Channel.  "Audiences will find all of the action and riveting drama associated with this pop culture sensation, along with a deeper dive into the mind-blowing science that provides the foundation for the series."
