Star Wars: Clone Wars Moving to Disney? Lego Yoda Specials at Cartoon Network

Tucked away inside of Cartoon Network's list of new and returning shows, released earlier today, was not only the cancellation of a couple of DC Nation shows but also the rather conspicuous absence of the long-running Star Wars: Clone Wars series. While it was immediately evident that Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice were likely cancelled, nobody thought as much from Clone Wars, especially as work has already begun on the next season. However, following the acquisition of Lucasfilm by Disney, it was widely speculated (and indeed even intimated by Disney brass) that the show would move to Disney XD at the end of its current licensing agreement. What's almost more odd than Clone Wars being relocated is that as it does so, The Yoda Chronicles: Lego Star Wars will return. This, of course, is possible because Lego hashes out their own unique licensing deals. Here's what the network had to say on the matter:

The Yoda Chronicles: LEGO Star Wars returns in epic style with The Yoda Chronicles, a thrilling, funny and action-packed new LEGO Star Wars story told in three animated TV specials! Set in the "Prequel" Star Wars timeline, The Yoda Chronicles stars the one and only Yoda—the Jedi Master who has seen it all, done it all, and taught generations of Jedi Knights—in an all-new adventure. With the help of a fresh class of Padawans, Yoda leads the Jedi in a desperate fight to stop Darth Sidious and his minions from creating a new super-weapon that could crush the Republic and win the war for the forces of Evil.
