SXSW: Marvel Launches Infinite Comics Weekly

Last year at South by Southwest, Marvel Comics introduced Infinite Comics, a new way of reading that was tailored to the digital environment. This year, Marvel announced a new, ongoing series beginning on July 9th titled Infinite Comics. Presumably featuring a revolving cast of creators and characters, they announced today that the first arc will be Wolverine: Japan's Most Wanted, scheduled to tie in with the release of James Mangold's The Wolverine in July. The story is set in Japan, as is the film. Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso called Infinite Comics "Completely different way of making comics," in which creators "have to worry about things like cinematography."
