The Amazing Spider-Man 2 To Feature Famous Supervillain Asylum

Move over, Arkham–Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to feature the Ravencroft Institute, one of the most famous supervillain detention and psychiatric facilities.That’s based on a tweet from Webb himself, who’s been documenting the production right along. Whether this means we’ll get a cameo from The Lizard or that one of the (at least) two villains Spidey will face off against in the second film will end up here at some point in the story is impossible to know yet.Certainly the fact that it exists is interesting and potentially sets up for a climax that could see a Sinister Six-style group put together, with Norman Osborn pulling together the three (or more) captured villains from the first three films along with some extra muscle introduced at the end of the trilogy.Okay, maybe that’s assuming a lot. But it would  be awesome.
