Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Taskmaster Casting Bogus

Casting rumors circulating earlier today that The Walking Dead's Travis Love had been hired to play a role on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are untrue, according to an ABC source. "ABC rep: S.H.I.E.L.D. casting rumor born on IMDb and now making rounds is NOT TRUE," tweeted TVLine Editor-At-Large Matt Mitovich. Taskmaster was co-created by George Perez, who also co-created Deathstroke the Terminator, a major villain in The CW Network's Arrow. The two have strikingly similar attitudes and even some of the same costume details, so to have him on a competing show might have been an interesting twist...especially since his name on The Walking Dead is "Bowman."
