Marvel's Head of Production, Kevin Feige, told Collider that Joss Whedon directed one of the two post-credits scenes in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. We won't spoil what occurs in those scenes in this post, but it's pretty easy to figure out which one the Avengers: Age of Ultron director had a hand in once you see them. The other scene was directed by the directors of Captain America: The Winter Soldier , Joe and Anthony Russo. This seems to be a new trend with the Marvel Studios films. While they've always had at least one post-credits scene, The Avengers escalated things by having two. Thor: The Dark World followed suit with two post-credits scenes, but only one was by Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor. The other was directed by, Guardians of the Galaxy director, James Gunn, and was clearly meant as a lead in to Guardians. Now Captain America: The Winter Soldier is following suit, with Whedon's scene being a lead in to Avengers: Age of Ultron. In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier. Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits theaters April 4, 2014. Avengers: Age of Ultron comes to theaters May 1, 2015.
