James Gunn Addresses Possibility Of Howard The Duck Movie

Ever since he showed up in the sting for Guardians of the Galaxy, fans have been wondering what the cinematic future of Howard the Duck might be.

In an interview with Empire Magazine, Guardians director James Gunn shared some insight into what Howard's future might be.

"I'll be honest with you, I was just talking about it with my assistant right now," says Gunn. "It's possible Howard could reappear as more of a character in the Marvel Universe. But if people think that's going to lead to a Howard The Duck movie, that's probably not going to happen in the next four years. Who knows after that?"

For now, it sounds like Howard may or may not get some more guest star roles and cameos, but don't expect a feature film with him as the star any time soon. But who knows? Maybe if his popularity continues to grow over the next few years, Marvel will give it some consideration.
