Marvel Studios has released their latest installment in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Art of Evolution series. The art, by Annie Wu, teases the return of Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) to the series in the episode, titled “Love in the Time of Hydra.”
The art shows Ward with Agent 33 in his embrace, with Agent 33 drawn abstractly to represent the uncertainty of her current identity.

Executive Producer Jeff bell shed some light on the new episode and how it will catch up with Ward after the events of the midseason finale.
“We call this ‘Love in the Time of Hydra,’ย and so you’re going to see what happened,” Bell tells EW “At the end of “What They Become,”ย which was our mid-season finale, Agent 33 and Ward limp off together towards the sunset. And this episode will bring us up to date and see what that has meant. And as the poster suggests, love is in the air.”
