Yesterday, the synopsis for the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 premiere was released, and today, Marvel.com has unveiled the synopsis for the second episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2. The cast description for the episode contains what some may consider a mild spoiler for who one of the cast is playing, so stop reading now if you would rather Season 2 remain a complete mystery. In “Heavy is the Head,” Hunted and running out of solutions, Coulson puts his team right in the line of fire in the hopes of saving them all. But with General Talbot, Hydra and Creel all on the attack, can they possibly survive? Meanwhile, a mysterious Doctor (Kyle MacLachlan) harbors some dangerous secrets that could destroy one of our core team members.
So the spoiler is that Kyle MacLachlan is labeled as The Doctor in the credits below, and it’s been previously reported that Maclachlan is playing Skye’s father.
