Are These The Final Evolutions for Pokemon Sun and Moon’s Starters?

Earlier today, Nintendo released a new trailer for Pokemon Sun and Moon that showed off a ton of new features for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game. The trailer might have also inadvertently confirmed some leaked artwork that allegedly shows the final evolutions for Litten, Popplio, and Rowlet, Pokemon Sun and Moon‘s starter Pokemon.

A few months ago, some concept art appeared on the internet along with a bunch of alleged information about the game. While some of the information sounded correct, most Pokemon fans were skeptical because there are always a ton of fake leaks that come out before a new Pokemon game. However, one of the pieces of concept art featured a trainer who appears in the new trailer as one of the Trial Leaders. This is a pretty big hint that this concept art is in fact real.

If the concept art is accurate, all three Starters’ final evolutions are based on a different type of occupation. The Fire cat Litten evolves into a Fire/Dark bipedal cat that is based off of a wrestler. The muscular cat can shoot fire out of what appears to be a championship belt. Rowlet evolves into a Grass/Flying type that shoots its feathers like arrows. Rowlet’s evolution wears a leafy hood over its head, concealing its true face.Popplio’s final evolution becomes a Water/Fairy type that resembles an elegant siren or mermaid. Popplio’s final form wears a crown made of pearls and starfish and has a long ponytail. You can check out all of the concept art in the photo gallery below!

Of course, this is still a rumor and until The Pokemon Company actually reveals the new evolutions, we should take them with a grain of salt.Let us know if you think this art is real in the comments below!
