When Stephen Amell surprised fans by posting a picture from Arrow showing Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak getting married last night, it was almost as big a shocker as the ending of The Flash, stealing some of the thunder of that show’s big reveal.

Well, executive producer Marc Guggenheim is doubling down on Amell’s reveal, with a tweet of the same image, and a new take on a classic DC Comics-style tease.
“Not a dream sequence. Not a hallucination. Not an alternate reality. Not a flash forward to a potential future,” he tweeted.

That’s fairly close to “Not a dream! Not a hoax! Not an imaginary story!” which has been used frequently on the covers of comic books. The phrases are most often used when something outrageous was depicted on the cover, like a death or… a wedding.
So is this Arrow wedding actually going to happen? We’ll see as Arrow continues on Wednesday nights at 8pm on The CW.
