It’s been a crazy week for Batmobile news. First, unofficial photos of the Batmobile leaked from the set of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Then, director Zack Snyder released an official Batmobile photo, complete with machine guns mounted on the hood.

Next, there were false rumors of the Batmobile getting stolen, which were just believable enough that a police investigation was launched. Now, we’ve got video of the not-stolen Batmobile doing a burnout on the set.
The video was taken by a Detroit resident, who wrote the reason he loved Detroit was because he was at home with his wife on a Friday night, watching the Batmobile do burnouts next door. The even more interesting part is the way we found the video is that Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice Cinematographer Larry Fong actually tweeted a link out to the video, teasing Batmobile footage. And even more bizarre, director Zack Snyder commented on the video through his production company Cruel Films. Snyder wrote, “Watching you.”
Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on March 25, 2016.
