The Fallout series is no doubt Bethesda’s most well-known product, and as such, fans always associate the game very closely with the company. With Fallout 4 having been released last November to rave reviews, Bethesda is looking to expand their Fallout universe and bring a bit of Vault-Tec into the real-world by producing their newest Pip-Boy for hardcore fans.

While Bethesda has previously created Pip-Boys that left gamers feeling unsatisfied, the company is now addressing those fans’ complaints by creating a new deluxe Pip-Boy for fans to sport. Bethesda just added their latest Pip-Boy model to its online store by writing, “Vault-Tec is proud to announce we have once again selected RobCo Industries as our single-source provider for the Pip-Boy Model 3000 Mk IV, the Personal Information Processor of choice for Vault Dwellers.”

Excited yet? Well, you should be.

Using designs from Fallout 4, Bethesda’s newest Pip-Boy model is the closest fans will get to owning their very own piece of post-apocalyptic tech. The new version comes complete with its own software interface, screen, functioning knobs/buttons, and speakers. Unlike their previous Pip-Boy model, the deluxe edition does not require a smartphone to work, but it will be equipped with Bluetooth capabilities for fans if they want make and receive calls, check texts, search contacts, and play audio files. Even without a phone connection, the Pip-Boy can still easily function as a cosplay accessory or alarm clock as it can display the Status, Special, and Perks screens from Fallout 4.

Bethesda also promises that their Pip-Boy will feel as good as it looks. The product’s description states that the Pip-Boy, “is lined with foam for a comfortable custom fitโ€ฆand [that] there aren’t any nasty biometric seals on this one, we promise.”

Currently, the Fallout 4 Deluxe Bluetooth Pip-Boy is available for pre-sale on Bethesda’s Online Store and ThinkGeek for $349.99. For the price, fans will receive the Pip-Boy itself along with “a genuine RobCo Industries stand that doubles as a charging base” and a pseudo-holotype cartridge which functions as a USB drive. The product will be shipped in a swanky “Capsule-Case-inspired tin designated for Vault 111 deployment.”

For fans of the Fallout franchise, adding Bethesda’s latest Pip-Boy model to their collection will go to show how ready they are to face down any survival situation in an upcoming apocalypse.
