Following yesterday’s controversial and unpopular decision to censor an issue of Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples’s Saga on iOS devices, an “approval issue” with Apple has delayed a number of additional day-and-date releases on their operating system, says ComiXology.”Unfortunately due to an Apple approval delay, many same day as print books are not being released on time today,” said the online retailer in a statement. “That said, you can purchase them on the web and then download your comics on your device via the Purchases tab. Just make sure you’re logged in using the same credentials.”ComiXology has refused to comment on the Saga controversy, citing their business relationship with Apple, and claims that the two events are unrelated and that the delay in today’s books is a simple process issue which has happened in the past.
